Tempus JEP Workshop: "Development of M.Sc. curricula in the framework of TEMPUS"
March, 3-6, 2008, Kopaonik, Serbia

 

 

Workshop titled "Development of M.Sc. curricula in the framework of TEMPUS" is a joint workshop for three currently running TEMPUS JEP projects from Serbia and Macedonia. It is integral part of The 14th National Conference on High Education "Effects and Quality of Bologna Studies" - TREND 2008.
Workshop is organized according to TEMPUS JEP_41016_2006 project proposal activities for ratifying draft curriculum of new master studies in E-Learning and also subsumes dissemination and intercoaching role for all three TEMPUS JEP projects.
Workshop participants are consortium members of the following TEMPUS JEP projects:

  1. JEP_41016-2006 "M.Sc. Curriculum in E-Learning", grant holder UM FERI, University Maribor, Slovenia; grant coordinator Technical faculty Cacak, University of Kragujevac, Serbia
  2. JEP_41048-2006 "Master Studies in DSP Based on Blended learning Approach", grant holder FACULTY OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE, University of Maribor, grant coordinator Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies,  University Ss Cyril&Methodius, Skopje, Macedonia
  3. JEP_41112-2006 "Development of Master Study Programmes in Telecommunications and Control", grant holder National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, grant coordinator  Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis,  Serbia

Workshop includes presentation of papers concerning variety of topics covering curriculum development issues and also round table for comprehensive discussion about ratifying draft curriculum of new master studies in E-Learning.

THE 2nd TEMPUS JEP WORKSHOP
June, 16-17, 2008, Faculty of Organization sciences, University of Belgrad
  • The main activities at the 2nd Tempus JEP Workshop included the following topics :
    • Review of performed project activities according to adopted ToDo list
    • Reporting on specific project activities performed
    • Accreditation activities of the new master studies managed at Technical faculty Cacak in framework of accreditation activities of all study programs
    • Results on performed market analyses for new M.Sc. studies at the TF Cacak
  • Discussions among all consortium members were conducted about:
    • introduction of ECTS system into curriculum (presented by prof. Suzana Loskoska)
    • structure and principles of lab exercises (presented by Sinja Leskovec)
    • needed market analyses (presented by Lin Pemberton)
    • project activities changes and how does it reflect to project results
    • future activities and division of work on teching materials among project partners
