BASIC BIOGRAPHICAL INFOMATION AND EDUCATION

Jelena R. Jovanović (Đukić) was born on August 26, 1980, in Čačak, where she completed elementary and secondary Technical School, specializing in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation.

She graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering at the University of Belgrade, Department of Road and Urban Transport, in 2006. She then enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, specializing in Industrial Engineering.

She earned her PhD in 2015, defending her dissertation, “Investigation of the Production Cycle Management Process of a Complex Product”, obtaining the title of Doctor of Science – Mechanical Engineering.

Personal biography: She lives in Belgrade with her husband and daughter.

TEACHING AND PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES

2006-2016: Worked as a research associate and later as an assistant at the Higher Technical School/College of Applied Technical Studies in Čačak.

Since 2010: Founder and co-director, alongside Professor Radisav Đukić, of the Laboratory for Production Engineering and Engineering Management at the company Sloboda Čačak.

2016-2020: Appointed as a professor of applied studies at the College of Applied Technical Studies in Čačak, specializing in Organization and Management.

2020-2025: Employed as a professor of applied studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac (scientific-professional field: Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management within the Technical-Technological Sciences).

Since 2025: Employed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac (scientific field: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering within the Technical-Technological Sciences).
