BIOGRAPHY

MSc Marija Nikolić was born on February 24, 1976, in Čačak, where she completed elementary school and high school, with a focus on natural sciences and mathematics. She graduated from the Technical Faculty in Čačak in 1998, specializing in Technology and Informatics, with an average grade of 9.77 during her studies. She completed postgraduate studies in the scientific field of Informatics in Education at the Technical Faculty in Čačak, defending her master's thesis "Development of Combined Learning to Improve the Teaching Process" in 2010, thus obtaining the academic title of Master of Pedagogical and Technical Sciences.

She began her work experience at the Technical Faculty in Čačak during the 1998/99 school year as an associate funded by the National Employment Service. Since January 24, 2000, she has been employed at the Higher Technical School in Čačak, later renamed the Higher School of Technical Vocational Studies, initially working as a laboratory assistant in the Computer Center. In December 2004, she was appointed as a professional associate in the field of Information Systems and Technologies. Since 2011, she has worked as a lecturer in the specialized field of Computer Engineering and Information Technologies. She is currently employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak as a lecturer in the field of Information Technologies and Systems.

Participation in project

Researcher on the project "Innovating Practical English Language Teaching in the Spirit of Digital Technologies - ENGLIT," project holder Higher School of Technical Vocational Studies Čačak, project leader DhD. Ivana Krsmanović, Professor of Vocational Studies, program activity Development of Higher Education, focused on the development of students' digital competencies, Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, announced in June 2018.
