BASIC BIOGRAPHICAL DATA

Dr Snežana Dragićević was born in 1969 in Čačak, where she completed her primary and secondary school. She began her studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade in 1988 and graduated in 1993 from the Department of Thermal Engineering.

In the same year, she enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Kragujevac, specialising in Energy and Process Engineering. She defended her master's thesis, "Optimisation of Steam-Condensation Systems in Industry," in 1998. Her doctoral dissertation, "Optimisation Model of Operational and Structural Parameters of an Active Solar Wall for Higher Energy Efficiency," was defended in 2003 at the "Mihailo Pupin" Technical Faculty in Zrenjanin.

Her professional career began in 1993 as a teaching assistant trainee for courses related to mechanical structures. In 1999, she was promoted to assistant for the same subject group. In 2003, she was appointed assistant professor in Structural and Energy Engineering. She was promoted to associate professor in 2008 and has held the title of full professor in Thermal Engineering and Thermal Power Engineering since February 2013.

 

RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS

In her professional career, she has published over 150 scientific and professional papers as an author and co-author. As a researcher, she has participated in scientific and innovation projects funded by the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia, as well as in international projects.

She holds License 381 – Responsible Engineer for Building Energy Efficiency, issued by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure (License No. 381И2969, February 2026), and a license for performing energy manager duties in the field of building energy systems, issued by the Ministry of Mining and Energy (License No. EMZ 0094/25, June 2025).
