Srdjan Divac was born on March 26, 1994 in Priboj, Serbia, where he completed his primary and secondary education. In 2013, he enrolled in undergraduate academic studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, which he completed in the 2016/2017 academic year as the best graduate student in the study program of Electrical and Computer Engineering – Electrical Power Engineering module, with an average grade of 9.67. He then continued with master's studies in the same program, Electrical and Computer Engineering – Industrial Power Systems module, at the same faculty. He completed his master's studies in 2018 with an average grade of 10, and in the same year, he enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak. He finished his PhD degree in 2025. with the aerage grade of 9.88.

Since November 2021, he has been employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak as an assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering. In January of 2026. he has been promoted to the position of Assistant Professor.

To date, he has published several scientific papers in international journals and presented them at both international and domestic conferences. The published papers focus on the application of numerical methods in electromagnetics for calculating capacitance, calculating measurement uncertainty in the efficiency measurement of electrical machines, measuring the characteristics of ferromagnetic materials, as well as using harmonic analysis for calculating quasi-static and dynamic hysteresis loops, solving electrical circuits with nonlinear hysteresis elements, analyzing the instantaneous magnetising power of a ferromagnetic core, and calculating parameters of the equivalent circuit of a coil with hysteresis. These areas represent the main directions of his further professional development. Some of his published papers include:
