Biography
Vesna Petrović was born on January 13, 1975 in Čačak. She finished Grammar School in Čačak.
She enrolled in undergraduate studies of English language and literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, in the academic year 1994/1995. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2000 and obtained the title of Teacher of English language and literature.
The master's student enrolled in the academic year 2008/2009 at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. She defended her master's thesis in the field of English language teaching methodology with the topic "The Task-Based Learning Approach (TBL) compared to the Presentation, Practice, Production Approach (PPP): Learning Vocabulary and Improving Speaking Competence on the Specified Topic with Adult Intermediate Students" in 2010. She earned the title of Master Professor of Language and Literature.
Vesna Petrović enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, in the academic year 2013/2014. She prepared her doctoral dissertation titled "Evaluation and Improvement of Criteria for Assessing Oral Presentation in English for Specific Purposes" under the mentorship of Dr Ana S. Jovanović. She defended her dissertation before the committee consisting of dr Olivera Durbaba, dr Ana Jovanović, and dr Anica Radosavljević Krsmanović, on September 28, 2022, earning the academic title of Doctor of Philological Sciences.
