Vesna Velickovic was born in 

She was born in Čačak, where she completed both elementary and secondary technical school with excellent success. She graduated from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Kragujevac in 2001 (BSc in Chemistry, specialization: Research and Development). She completed her postgraduate specialist studies in 2011 at the same faculty (Specialist in Chemical Sciences). She defended her doctoral dissertation on June 30, 2021, at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Kragujevac, thereby earning the academic title of Doctor of Chemical Sciences.

After graduation, she worked as a lead engineer in the Quality Control Laboratory at the Cutting Tools Factory in Čačak, and later as a chemistry and vocational subject teacher at the Technical and Food Technology–Hospitality School. She was actively involved in introducing a new educational profile in the field of environmental protection within the chemistry program.

She began working at the College of Applied Technical Sciences in 2017 as a lecturer in Chemistry in the modules Graphic Engineering and Environmental Management. After its merger with the Faculty of Technical Sciences, she continued her work at the Faculty. In 2022, she was elected to the position of Assistant Professor in the narrower scientific field of Applied Chemistry.

Her scientific activity focuses on applied chemistry, biochemistry, and environmental protection.
