The work of students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences on civilian womens costume - the end of the 19th century

In the "Nadežda Petrović" Art Gallery, on Wednesday, March 13, a professional lecture and presentation of women's costumes, reconstructed on the basis of a family photo of Nadežda Petrović from 1898, was held.
 
 
 
The lecture was given by Dijana Gvozdenović, Rahel Delić and Marija Marković, students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, majoring in Clothing Engineering and Design. The girls worked hard on the reconstruction of these costumes, which were produced by the company "Tiffany Production", a partner of the faculty in dual education. 
 
 
 
After the welcoming address of the representatives of the gallery and the textile company, prof. Dr Danijela Milošević, dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, has emphasized that the combination of education and business is an example of good practice that will continue in the future because many other companies in our town as well as in the surrounding area are interested in that type of collaboration. Miloš Papić,a member of the town council for education, science and culture, confirmed that.
 
 
This event, held on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Nadežda Petrović and realized as a part of the final activities of the "Čačanska rodna" project, gathered numerous students, professors, colleagues and all art lovers who wanted to support young talents and enjoy their work.
